L.A. Day 6

No major updates today. Ummmmm burn's getting "better". It's peeling hardcore now, which looks pretty gross, but unavoidable. It's not gonna be cute strutting around in my bikini by the Venetian pool with a scabby arm.

I've noticed since I've been here that my allergies are non-existent and my skin is fantastic and so well-behaved!! I think I was born to live here.

There was also a mini-quake today that I failed to noticed. We were in a theatre and i had just thought that someone kicked my seat, until the people in front of us asked if we felt the jerk too. LOL whoops. Maybe i WOULDN'T survive on the West Coast.

ok off to bed...I'm calling it an early night. VEGAS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

L.A. Day 5

I've been slack with the updates cuz i've been road-tripping all weekend with the majority of my time being spent in San Diego...and I had no wi-fi there :(

But my mini road trip included: San Diego (obviously), Cabazon (near Palm Springs), Carlsbad, and last but certainly not least...NEWPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I effing LOVE it in Newport. And not just cuz i'm a huge O.C. fan lol it is clean and posh and fab!

POSHEST MALL EVER!!!!! Let's just say...even their McDonald's had leather loungers! WTH! Pix to come later. I would so consider moving here if not for the lack of excitement/hustle & bustle, and Universal Health care lol

That's me in Martin + Osa's badasssss fitting room. All wood, high ceilings, spacious, a wicked forest-y backdrop, and not to mention great lighting which i think is ESSENTIAL in fitting rooms.

Today I have no concrete plans....we may play it by ear since we just got back into L.A. last night and are pretty tired from the weekend's adventures.

Leaving for Vegas tomorrow morn though...HOLLA!!!

After Vegas, I think we plan on doing some more California roaming ....Laguna, Anaheim, Santa Monica, and more of Melrose + Rodeo.

L.A. Day 3

12:07 a.m. PST

I am EXHAUSTED from a full day of shopping in Hollywood, Melrose, and Beverly Hills. Made it a point to stop at Kitson, and the infamous Sprinkles for a dozen cupcakes (@ $40USD a pop mind you)....but mmmmmmmmmmmm!!! SO DELISH!

Passed by a couple of Pinkberry's but didnt go in (since Yogurtland is way better :X)

Purchases today:

- cute UCLA tank
- even cuter bikini
- some random hair accessories
- and of course the cupcakes

Yeah...i'm pacing myself....a 2 week shopping journey is DANGEROUS lol

We didn't fully get to explore the entire Melrose and Rodeo strips so i'm thinking we'll head back there next week. But first thing's first....packing up for the drive to San Diego tomorrow.

p.s. we rented a car today and let me tell you...it is mortifying driving around melrose and rodeo in a lame white IMPALA cuz that's all that Enterprise had left. AND it was damn overpriced. *fist*

Los Angeles!

So here I am...Day 2 in Los Angeles......ok, it's really just Day 1 since we got in around 10pm PST last night. Not much to report yet as most of today was just spent figuring out what we're gonna do for the next two weeks, but i DID manage to make a stop over at my fave snack spot: Yogurtland . LOVES IT!!!!!

There's a bootleg one in Pacific Mall but this one's way better :) more yogurt flavors, more toppings.

Purchases thus far:

- a totally cute bright yellow skirt
- neon yellow tank (yeah, i'm on a yellow trip...)
- nail polish
- a few little surprises for Sokhom's nephew Ben.

yeah, totally random.

Up next tomorrow: Random adventures in Hollywood & Beverly Hills. Making it a point to stop by the much hyped-up Kitson, and possibly have din @ Geisha House.

Anybody have any suggestions on places I should see / go to / eat or shop at in the Los Angeles area?
