Unsent Letter

Dear Ryan,

I think it may have slipped your mind that you were supposed to marry ME when you ran off and wed ScarJo in the wildernesses of Vancouver not too long ago. That was kind of mean, and a huge shock on my part. I've named our kids and everything. But it's ok. I forgive you because you look like this:

and because you look like THIS when fighting bitchy vampire ex-girlfriends:

and because you recycle :*):

Have you forgotten about all those tender moments we spent together? Like all those nights I'd stay glued to the TV to catch "Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place"? Lets face it...I didn't tune in to watch Blondie whatsherface, or Boring ol OtherGuy, and especially NOT for the pizza place.

Anyway....I trust that you will be over this "hot blonde successful young actress" phase soon and move on to what will surely be better territory. Cuz baby...as fun as watching you through binoculars from 20 feet away amongst bushes is, it's winter now. And it's cold outside.

Love,

T.

Put this on your face, and love it!

From the label that once brought you the oh-so-cool CK Denim Jackets / Tees / Jeans phase in the 90's (you had a pair of white ones...don't lie), comes a line of fab cosmetics currently exclusive to Sephora. With fashion foward colours and clean, chic packaging, it's quickly become my new obssession.

Must-Haves:

Runway Radiance Illuminating Cream
I use the GOLDEN GLOW one and I love the dewy effect.

Electric Edge Liquid Eyeliner Marker Pen
Get the striking look of liquid liner without all the struggle. Super easy to use!

Tempting Glance Eye Palette
Every sexpot loves her smokey eye, and with this palette there's no need to go elsewhere. Also try these other fab palettes: Grey Variation Eyeshadow Quad and the Purple Variation Eyeshadow Quad

Splendid Color Unstoppable Color Nail Enamel
Applies easily with intense colour :) My fave? Steele. Not sure which colour to commit to first? Why not try the Splendid Glam Mini Nail Enamel Collection?

Music to My Soul.

Guess what, folks? There are actually some FANTASTIC R&B and Hip Hop albums being released this month and December that you can finally be excited about. It's been awhile, hasn't it? With the exception of T.I. - Paper Trails, John Legend - Evolver, Neyo - Year of the Gentleman, and dare I say...Lil Wayne's The Carter III... we've been through somewhat of a musical drought. Well, dry spell's over. Let it rain, baby.

Beyonce - I Am Sasha Fierce
November 18th 2008

Favourite Tracks: If I Were a Boy, Single Ladies, Diva, Video Phone. Needless to say I think I prefer the "FIERCE" side of the album. Of course...lol

Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak
November 25, 2008
As much of a jackass as I think he is....his music can be damn good! Featuring the single 'Love Lockdown'.

Jay Z - Blue Print III
December 2008 - TBD
- (includes 'Jockin Jay Z')

Slim (of 112) - Love's Crazy
November 18, 2008

Call me Crazy, but I like Slim. And I Love the So Fly track so this should be interesting...

Mos Def - The Ecstatic
December 2008 - TBD

Common - Universal Mind Control
December 9, 2008
This album is reportedly produced entirely by the Neptunes.

EPMD - We Mean Business
December 9, 2008
The most sampled hip-hop act of all time return for another go-round on We Mean Business, their 7th LP. This time, they team up with Method Man, Raekwon, Skyzoo, KRS-One, and Keith Murray. Have they lost their touch? I guess we'll see...

QTip - The Renaissance
November 4, 2008

I haven't had a chance to listen to my copy yet, but I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint.

and last but certainly not least....the Canadian R&B Diva:

Deborah Cox - Promise
November 11, 2008.
I haven't had a chance to listen to this one yet either, but Deborah Cox was the SH!T in her hay day.

All this music brings a tear to my eye and a beat to my step. My iPod is going to be put through some heavy usage this season :)

And with that, I'll leave you with one of my favourite R&B Tracks of all time by Deborah Cox and RL:

WE CAN'T BE FRIENDS

:*)

Enjoy!!!

The House of Balmain <3

Balmain - founded by Pierre Balmain - started off as a French fashion house dressing old Hollywood stars such as Ava Gardner and Brigitte Bardot. Oscar de la Renta led the house between 1993 and 2001, but now is headed by designer Christophe Decarnin.

>> He's the man who brings you $1,500 Balmain cotton t-shirts — and those are the cheapest; They go up to $3,000 if you want sparkles. Balmain is the word on everyone's lips — buyers, fans of fringed boots — and the fervor is reaching a fever pitch.

Christophe Decarnin came out of nowhere to head the house in 2005, and with every collection he does for Balmain, sales have doubled.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HIS DRESSES!!! If I could afford to wear $10k + dresses everywhere and anywhere, Balmain would be my label of choice, hands down. <3>et le Pièce de résistance.................

GOODBYE, Centipede Joe!

Are you THE ultimate girly-girl like me? If so, you probably hate bugs just as much as I do...and I don't mean the kind you spend all night trying to find amongst lines and lines and lines of Java code while your eyes beg for mercy @ 4am. Uhhh ok that was the Nerdy IT guy in me talking. :X

Well anyway...

What does a girl like me do when she comes across a monster of a fly buzzing around her room? Or worst yet...the demonbeast of all insects...a CENTIPEDE...zipping along her floor?

I scream for my brother :X or anyone else who's near to get that sucker for me. I just HATE the thought of the thing squishing against my wall/floor, or its skeletal structure crunching beneath my fingers. My worst fear, though? Swatting a fly along the wall, and having it fall somewhere in a shoe but not being able to find it, then forgetting all about it until one day.... when you go to slip on your cute Gucci pumps...there it is. CrunchCrunch, SquishSquish between your toes. :S Ok, so maybe I'm the only one with that last fear.

Well, my pretties...problem solved:

Introducing the BUG VACUUM - $49.95.

its....beautiful :*)

Happy [Belated] Halloween!

From Tara the perfect Housewife ;)

Costume - hand sewn ...because I was slack and couldnt order the one I wanted ontime. Anyone need a custom costume for next year? Holla at us! lol

A few more randoms of the night:

Myself and the Bday boy who's trying to eat my brains.

Getting handcuffed is always fun.

Our best pix are always taken on Halloween. Weird...

My hot dominatrix and i.
Ok so we didn't make the gloves from scratch because I hadn't realize how DIFFICULT it was to do so. And so we just bought dyeable gloves, dyed them yellow, and added the eyelet trim and ribbons.

This is my favourite Halloween costume so far :)
Cuz really...how often do i get to wear this much pink and ruffles and bows?
I <3> Gingham and Eyelet!

Hope yall had a great Halloween!!!!

xoxo,

T.
